The main focus for the latest issue is the new store that we recently completed for Winsor Bishop. This was a challenging project as the client had a deadline of just weeks 8 and at the time of our appointment the design scheme hadn’t been finalised, let alone signed off. We continue to win a variety of work with both new and current clients, and I am delighted to bring you news of a selection of our recent appointments. One of those recent projects was to re-fit the Canary Wharf Shopping Centre store for upmarket chocolatier, Charbonnel et Walker, working with one of our long-term clients, London-based CADA Design. We are delighted to announce the launch of our new website, which has been completely re-designed. The new site is fully responsive, which means that no matter what screen size you are viewing it on the content will automatically scale to fit. With more and more people using mobile devices to access the internet a new site was needed.
We continue to be busy with a variety of projects including working at the five-star Grove Hotel Resort in rural Hertfordshire and two luxury private residence in London’s St James’s and Chelsea. We have recently completed another project for Hidden Hearing refurbishing their store in Canterbury as well as a new Sunglass Hut concession at Selfridges, Trafford Centre and a new pop-up shop at Selfridges Oxford Street — projects which are the main focus of this newsletter. We are also delighted to announce that we have recently achieved Safecontractor accreditation, which is a leading third party accreditation scheme that recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors. The accreditation is a tangible recognition of our commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety standards. Safecontractor also plays a vital role in supporting our clients in meeting their own health and safety obligations, as well as demonstrating that we have excellent risk management procedures in place on all our sites — essential, as our work is often carried out in occupied public buildings.
